In 2006, a handful of friends met over a bowl of room temperature potato salad at a picnic and decided that doing some improvisational comedy might be fun.  7 years, a tv show, multiple venues and cast members later the Improvisation Corporation is still producing live comedy theatre events in the city that gave birth to their tomfoolery.

Perhaps most well known for the Rogers TV (NB) cult hit FunZai! the improv corp has produced numerous shows over its lifetime.  An Evening with Harold, Potatoe Salad, Cheese+Monkey+Box+Pirate, Comedy Deathmatch, Comedy Night in SJ, JT Magee's International Funfest and their annual Christmas production Twisted Dickens.  The Improv Corp has also worked closely with the Saint John Theatre Corporation to deliver events such as Theatre on the Edge and the MP3 Experiment.
